It's been 15 years since we formed 'Clockwork Flowers' in the Himalayas…more precisely, Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh in northern India. After that horrible Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami on 26th December 2004, we experienced the toughest, coldest and loneliest winter in total isolation without having water, power and food supply most of the time during that winter in the Himalayas. We still remember some kind of 'mad' or 'insane' atmosphere throughout the winter. Then the spring came, we were still struggling to survive…until the day when our guru blessed us in a proper manner that strongly encouraged us to play music together, in other words, to form a band. We finally formed 'Clockwork Flowers' in that spring 2005. After a couple of gigs we did in the Himalayas, we experienced the most horrible time in our life which we cannot explain at this time but because of this horrible event, we had to stop playing music together as a band and were forcibly separated from each other for some months and it made us to realise that 'Clockwork Flowers' is our true identity and beyond…

Anyway, before the lockdown, we could somehow manage to record a basic track including guitars and drums in the studio (rehearsal room) across the street from our flat. The studio that we've been using for the last 12 years (featured in our music videos such as 'Uncle John', 'Out Of My Mind' and so on) sadly closed down even before the lockdown and we were the last customers. We carried on recording the rest and completed this song 'Whatever The Weather' during the lockdown here at Great Bliss Studio. Every year, we celebrate the band's anniversary on 11th June however under these circumstances, everything takes much more time and energy than usual so that we decided to release this song 'Whatever The Weather' on 7th July 2020. We're still waiting to finalise our digital distribution but everything else is ready including a special 15th anniversary music video 'Whatever The Weather'! In the meantime, you can enjoy the trailer…STAY TUNED!!
