"If it was 1967, this album would have been released as a double EP (like original UK version of Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles) and that's a concept of the album '2013 Demos' by the Clockwork Flowers. CD 1 - Six Mono Songs by John Bliss contains 6 songs recorded live with just one microphone (no overdubs). CD 2 - Six Stereo Songs by the Clockwork Flowers contains same 6 songs but different and evolved multi-tracked versions to complete the album. Original idea was to record new songs as simple acoustic demos but when we start recording, we both thought this should be more than just simple acoustic demos as we’re getting really nice takes. So apart from John's initial acoustic demos (CD 1 - Six Mono Songs), we recorded same 6 songs with more instruments (yet quite simple arrangements) as the Clockwork Flowers and finally completed 12 tracks double EP... ENJOY!"
